My name is Niko Caldellis. Originally from the Pacific Northwest, I grew up around boats from a young age. Today, I work as a professional yacht captain and engineer with over a decade of hands-on experience operating, maintaining, and managing a wide range of vessels.
I have worked in the yachting industry since 2014, starting as a deckhand and working my way up through the ranks. Over the years, I've gained extensive experience in vessel operations, maintenance, refits, deliveries, and yacht management aboard vessels throughout the Caribbean, Mediterranean, and along both the East and West Coasts of the United States.
I hold a USCG 200-Ton Master License and a USCG Qualified Member of the Engine Department (QMED) endorsement. My background includes captaining private and charter yachts, managing vessel refits, troubleshooting complex mechanical and electrical systems, and helping owners keep their boats safe, reliable, and ready to use.
I started Caldellis Marine Services because many boat owners are looking for someone they can genuinely trust to care for their vessel as if it were their own — someone who understands not only how to operate boats properly, but also how to maintain and manage them to a high standard.
Whether it’s ongoing yacht management, vessel deliveries, system upgrades, remote consultation, or troubleshooting a difficult problem, my goal is simple: to keep your boat safe, reliable, and ready to go whenever you are.
